soldiers) await the Southern Army at "The Angle", a
battlesite in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania in 1863.
This scene represents the losses
that incurred in the
CONFEDERATE
ARMY
(28,000 casualties) as it
advanced on the
UNION ARMY.
These students represent the
CONFEDERATE ARMY
(representing 75,000 soldiers)
advancing on the North.
The UNION ARMY won this battle at Gettysburg.
However, the
UNION ARMY lost 23,000 soldiers.
